Classes for Children and Youth
Rocky River Presbyterian Church has a thriving Christian Education program for all school age children. Classes are offered for students ranging from kindergarten though high school from 10:00am Sunday mornings prior to the 11:00am worship service. While a common theme is studied each Sunday in individual classrooms, the curriculum is modified to engage each age group for maximum understanding and benefit. Our church has been greatly blessed with a team of dedicated teachers and a youth director with expertise in the development of Christian Education curriculum. Lessons are planned to be developmentally appropriated and to provide meaningful content as we study and grow in the word of our Lord.

Our curriculum for children is Exploring Faith®, which is a four-year Bible study for Sunday school that enables children to experience God through Jesus Christ. Children and the adults who live and work with them will experience together, in Christian community, the stories and messages of the Bible appropriate to the children's increasing maturity through lessons that provide opportunities for discussion and ideas for activities.

Exploring Faith will help children and the adults who work with them:

• develop a deep and life-giving relationship with God
• respond in faith to Jesus Christ's redeeming love
• seek and trust the guidance of the Holy Spirit
• recognize the Holy Bible as the Word of God, the primary guide for faith and practice
• identify themselves as children of God and grow in discipleship.

Adult Classes
Our adult classes use the Uniform Lesson Series Bible curriculum.
